Traditional Local Country Pub
The Old Court House is a traditional thatched country inn dating from 1633. Charles 1 stayed here in 1634 on his first tour of the Westcountry and an original Royal House of Stuart Coat of Arms is still on the premises.
We are in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide and always have a choice of three real ales as well as the usual choice of excellent Westcountry ciders and other beverages including those of the non alcoholic kind.
We offer an extensive lunch time and evening menu many of which are homemade fayre to be taken in the bar, quiet dining room or pretty cobbled courtyard garden.
An excellent choice of local beverages and a friendly comfortable atmosphere, nice home made pub grub.
