Dating from 1633, The Old Court House is a traditional thatched country inn that is also a Grade II listed building.

There are many interesting features including an original Royal House of Stuart Coat of Arms (Charles I) since Charles I stayed here in 1634 on his first tour of the West Country in a wheeled carriage.

CAMRA Good Beer Guide, a choice of three real ales and ciders are available from the bar and we are open all day, every day.

Food from our extensive menu (with many home made dishes) can be served in the bar, the quiet dining room or, if you prefer, the pretty cobbled courtyard garden.

Here you can savour the sensation of 'time stood still' in the peace and tranquillity of a traditional inn. We offer fully re-furbished twin or Super K/S bedded rooms (Five [5]) as serviced accommodation.
